Project Description:
ESI was the EPC Contractor for this project. The project consisted of two phases. Phase I consisted of the complete design and installation of a new microprocessor distributive control system to operate Dow Corning’s existing, as well plans for the Phase II expansion. Phase II consisted of the design and installation of a 150,000 pph boiler system. The boiler system included one 150,000 pph boiler burning natural gas, #2 fuel oil, or #6 fuel oil, deaerator, and feed pumps, a complete new demineralized water treatment system designed to meet all boiler and process needs, and a new addition to the existing power house to house all the equipment.
