Project Description:

ESI was the EPC Contractor for this 1500 HP Steam Facility. This facility one 1500 HP firetube boiler designed to produce 200 psig saturated steam firing natural gas or #2 fuel oil, along with a state-of-the-art low NOx burner, forced draft fan with variable frequency drive, fuel oil pumps, blowdown heat recovery system, and all waterside auxiliaries including a deaerator with boiler feedwater pumps and a duplex sodium zeolite water softener, all housed in a new pre-engineered metal building. Also, the controls for an existing boiler were modified to improve future controls reliability and provide integration into the new Emerson DeltaV controls system.
