September 1989

ESI performed the engineering and procurement for this steam plant expansion, which resulted in the addition of a 200,000 pph steam system. This system included: two identical 100,000 pph package boilers firing natural gas or #2 fuel oil, designed to produce 150 psig saturated steam; a 200,000 pph tray type deaerating feedwater heater; a Bailey Controls Net 90 Distributed Controls System; and all other necessary auxiliaries. ESI also upgraded two of the existing boilers to DCS. Demolition was required to locate this new system into the existing facility.
