ESI was the EPC Contractor for the Fox Valley Glass Aggregate Facility. This first-of-a-kind facility receives 1300 tons/day of paper mill sludge from Wisconsin Tissue Mills, Kimberly-Clark, P. H. Glatfelter, and other local mills. The sludge is received, handled, dried, and combusted along with natural gas to produce process steam and glass aggregate as sellable byproducts. The material handling system was designed to provide 50 tons/ hour of biomass to the boiler.

The material handling system included:
