Project Description:

ESI was the EPC Contractor for the upgrade of Dupont’s Dowtherm Vaporizer #1. In order to comply with new NOx standards Dupont decided to replace the existing vaporizer burners with new low NOx burners. This project included: the supply and installation of a new natural gas/#6 oil fired low NOx burner on an existing vaporizer, a new PLC-based burner management system, a new Distributed Control System, and new instrumentation.
