Project Description:

ESI performed the engineering, procurement, and construction management (EPCM) for this 1,100,000 pph coal/pet coke/natural gas-fired facility. The facility includes a field-erected circulating fluid bed boiler, complete coal and pet coke material receiving, storage and handling system, ash  storage and handling systems, and all auxiliary systems. 

This facility includes a state-of-the-art air quality control system with control systems for particulate matter, SOx, NOx, HCl, Hg and TSM (via PM surrogate).  These systems included limestone injection, powder activated carbon dry scrubbing, selective non-catalytic NOx reduction and baghouse.
