Environmental / MACT Compliance
Bringing existing steam and power facilities into compliance with new environmental regulations has been a consistent challenge of ESI’s Steam & Power SPECIAL FORCESĀ® throughout our 20 plus year history. Environmental / MACT compliance driven projects include new state-of-the-technology continuous emissions monitoring systems for compliance monitoring of all stack emissions. For NOx emissions reduction, ESI has designed and installed low NOx burners, flue gas recirculation systems, and SCR and SNCR systems. For SO2 and Particulate emissions reduction, ESI has designed and installed a variety of wet and dry scrubbers, baghouses, and electrostatic precipitators. Our familiarity with all EPA regulations including NSPS, BACT, PSD, and MACT compliance allows ESI to recommend the most technically and economically feasible air pollution control technology.
