Project Description:

ESI performed a study for Wausau Papers in which various options for steam and power generation were analyzed to determine the facility’s best path forward. Options considered included: various combinations of combustion and steam turbines. This study provided Wausau with economic analysis which included the Internal Rate of Return and the Net Present Values for each option as well as a technical description and cost estimate for the recommended option. This study was utilized by the facility to obtain board approval for the project. ESI was ultimately selected as the EPC contractor for this project.
