Project Description:

ESI was contracted by Progress Materials, Inc., to perform a study to prepare the firm price and initial facility design for a Carbon Burn-Out Facility for The SEFA Group at Santee Cooper’s Winyah Generating Station. The study included the preliminary design and specification of the major equipment; compilation of the CBO facility’s installation costs, including integration into the existing generating station’s operations; and boundary limit needs from the host facility. The study proved the feasibility for the specific site. ESI was ultimately selected as the EPC contractor for this project.
