Project Description:

ESI was contracted by Progress Materials, Inc., to perform a study to prepare the firm price and initial facility design for a carbon burn-out facility located at Progress Energy’s Roxboro Steam Generating Facility. The study included the preliminary design and specification of the major equipment; compilation of the CBO facility’s installation costs including integration into the existing generating station’s operations; and boundary limit needs from the host facility. The project is currently awaiting environmental permit and corporate approval.
