Amsterdam, Netherlands - Kennesaw, Georgia-based ESI Inc of Tennessee was selected as a winner of Bentley’s world-wide engineering competition, the 2010 Be Inspired Awards held in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Recognized for their work on the Department of Energy – Biomass Cogeneration Facility at the Savannah River Site, ESI was selected to receive the award in the Innovation in Power Generation category.

Cassville, WI – ESI is nearing completion of the 54MW biomass conversion project for DTEES at their Cassville, Wisconsin facility. ESI began work on the engineering and procurement of the facility components in April 2009. The project consisted of the installation of a new material sizing, storage and handling system, a new biomass stoker, a SNCR system and new fans. ESI has also overseen the conversion of two existing pulverized coal-fired boilers to biomass-fired boilers.
