Although the majority of ESI’s work is EPC in nature, ESI does provide construction management services only, utilizing our same EPC field operations system. The construction management function is a key part of every EPC contract that ESI performs. At this stage of a project, we have purchased the best equipment, designed the facility, developed very specific bid packages and hired the best crafts people in the area. ESI is now in a position to expect the highest possible quality and safety from the subcontractor.
Our field operations team is in place to see that this happens. ESI’s field operations team includes several field superintendents who are seasoned and experienced veterans in managing construction site activities. Depending on the project size and complexity, our field superintendents are augmented by field engineers who provide additional technical support to the project. Because ESI does not typically direct-hire craft people, our field personnel can concentrate on the oversight of each subcontractor to ensure that every member of the project team is complying with all ESI and facility safety rules and that the work is being performed in compliance with all ESI specifications.
